In the Thick of the Smoke is an educational video infographic made for educators to use&nbsp; to communicate the history. The video focuses on the story of the Thunderchild Residential School through the lens of Jenny Spyglass, a residential school survivor.Thunderchild Residential School is one of many schools that burned down as resistance against the school programs. From this, I knew I wanted to focus on a specific school where its students took action against. Informative videos, I find, are the easiest to digest especially when grappling with grievous matters such as this.
